Salary deduction or reimbursement is against the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). We would like to advise Malaysian Employers to refrain from hiring maids from Agencies who practices salary deduction. The maids who deployed with this scheme from the Philippines are prone to runaways or absconding from their employers. Once the maid ran away to The Philippines Embassy, the employer or the local agencies must refund the deducted amount and must repatriate the maid to the Philippines.
